Dehtiarivska Street.
Previously called Starozhitomirske shose (Old Zhitomir Highway). In the early twentieth century, it was renamed in honor of Kievan merchant Mikhailo Dehtiarov (the son of the first city of Kiev head). He had not childrens, so all of his savings (about 2 mln) bequeathed to the city. In Soviet times, the street was called for Red Army commander, and Alexander Parkhomenko.
