U.S. Route 52 (Fancy Gap Highway)
U.S. Route 52 is a U.S. numbered highway in the midwestern and eastern United States. It runs from Charleston, South Carolina to the Canadian border near Portal, North Dakota. In Virginia it runs north-south as it parallels Interstate 77 and mostly serves as a local route. It connects Hillsville, Wytheville, and Bland north to Bluefield, West Virginia. To the south it diverts away from I-77 towards Mount Airy, North Carolina, connecting again with the future I-74 corridor.
