Duta-Ulu Kelang Expressway (DUKE)

Duke, an acronym for The Duta-Ulu Kelang Expressway, forms the vital missing link in the Kuala Lumpur Road Master Plan, joining Duta in the west to Ampang in the east, and to Karak in the north. DUKE completes the Intermediate Ring Roads (Int RR) of Kuala Lumpur, bridging the North Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE), SPRINT (at Penchala Link) and Ulu Kelang section of the Middle Ring Road II, allowing motorists to travel from end to end in just 9 minutes.

More than just improving connectivity, DUKE also disperses traffic from the city towards various suburban areas through multiple entry and exit points at major radial intersections. With DUKE, you are able to travel from one end of KL to other parts in minutes, bypassing high traffic areas such as Lebuhraya Mahameru, Jalan Tun Razak, Jalan Kuching, Jalan Sultan Ismail and Jalan Ampang. No stressful driving, no bumper-to-bumper crawl and no idle engine burning precious petrol.
