Georgia Route 136

GA 136 is a 136 mile long state highway in Georgia. It travels from the Alabama State Line west of Trenton to an intersection with GA 60 near Gainesville.

It enters the town of Trenton and turns right onto US 11/GA 58 and then turns left a block later, passing through rural areas and intersecting GA 157, GA 193, GA 341 along the way. It then comes to an intersection with US 27/GA 1 (Martha Berry Hwy), runs concurrently with that for a few miles before it splits to the east. In Naomi, it meets GA 151 and runs concurrently to the northeast, then turns to the right and curves back to the south, then more easterly. In Villanow, it intersects GA 201, continues east and curves to the south again, then bears to the left onto Reseca Valley Rd. In Resaca, it meets US 41/GA 31 for a one block concurrency to the north, then splits to the northeast as Nickelsville Rd. It crosses into the extreme southeastern corner of Murray County and then the extreme southwestern corner of Gilmer County, and then crosses into Pickens County. In Talking Rock, GA 136 continues on a more northeasterly direction and then due east, passing through rural areas of the county. It crosses into Dawson County and meets GA 183 and runs concurrently for a short while before splitting on its own again. It continues in this mainly southeastern direction for quite a distance miles until it intersects US 19, where it will continue as Price Rd until it terminates at the intersection with GA 60.
