    Everyday & particularly on Tuesday thousands throng Udyan Ganesh temple. On Tuesdays & chaturthi there are some flower vendors who do brisk business. The temple has been recently renovated but has always had an aura inside the temple as well as outside. Very conveniently there is the devi temple - Kalimata temple adjacent to this temple. A visit to this temple is very satisfying for devotees.

    This memorial is very well managed housing air conditioned facilities. There is no entry fee nor are visitor asked questions. Facilities includes free library, coaching for NDA entrance exam as well as civil services. This is indeed a great facility managed by BMC & Govt of Maharashtra. Place is very well maintained & there is no nuisance.

    Very silent places all around Shivaji Park. Mayor's Bungalow provides a glimpse of the years gone by. Imagine the bungalow 50 years ago... with vast tracts of land now home to numerous cricket pitches. The Veer Savarkar Marg in front of the bungalow must have been really free of traffic as well as pollution free.
