    Hi Jaya Prabhakaran and Rohit Gupta! Your names sound so familiar. Our parents were friends. Yes our family too stayed there in the 60s. Amazing large 4 bedrooms apartment on the top floor of B wing. A large verandah overlooking the sea on cuff parade. there was no machimar village then and one of the bedrooms in a turret one floor above the rest of the apartment. Wonderful childhood memories. Rohit, if you are the same person, you have no siblings and Jaya you are from Kerala and have a sister called Sheila. Actually we knew 3 families called Prabhakaran in the railways.     Hi Kelly Cohen. I am trying to trace my mother’s family tree in India. She is a Kelly and was born in Kola Gold fields. Her grand father was Jobe Soloman Kelly who was in charge of the Post Office there. For many years we thought the Kelly name implied an Irish background until I found out my great grand father had a Jewish name. Researching the Kelly name and being of Jewish origin in India I came upon Ms Sophy Kelly. I would love to find out the connection, if there is one between our families in India.
