Dinosaur National Monument, Temporary Visitor Center & parking lot (at 4,866 feet or 1,483m). This Visitor Centre is a temporary replacment for the Dinosaur Quarry Visitor Center further along the road, that was closed indefinitely in July 2006 because of subsidence & other structural problems (there are plans to renovate it and re-open it in about 2010). Until then, this Temporary Visitor Center provides information and limited facilities.
