parking lot, boat ramp / launch
Place where commercial jetboats are launched into and retrieved from the Colorado River.
Only services: concrete boat ramp, shaded picnic tables, vault toilet, and parking. No water.
In 2011, the BLM cut down most of the tamarisk between the river and the parking lot, built a new outdoor toilet facility, and built shade structures with picnic tables.
Just west of the parking lot the pavement ends and the rough dirt road begins. The end of pavement marks the southern end of (Federal) Route 1694.
