Baggs is a town in Carbon County, Wyoming, United States. The population was 411 at the 2020 census.
Baggs calls itself the “Gateway to the Red Desert”. It was a hideout area for Butch Cassidy and his Wild Bunch. The town history includes the story of the one and only traffic light in Baggs. It was put up in the mid 50s and lasted less than a year. Guess it was not needed!
