airport, abandoned / shut down

Arrowhead was closed after the 1993 flood caused extensive damage to the buildings at the airport. The field was under 10' of riverwater! The runway - still in existance - was 2800'.
Arrowhead was constructed sometime prior to 1957, and was a popular location for flight training.
The property now hosts baseball diamonds and a small farm!
