422-foot, 37-story modernist hotel completed in 1991 as the Marriott Financial Center Hotel. Designed by Wechsler, Grasso, Menziuso, P.C. and Nobutaka Ashihara Associates, it is clad in orange brick, with the tower jutting up from the west side of a 5-story base. On the West Street side, a 3-story glass curtain wall broken by narrow white piers encloses the lobby and atrium. The entrance is offset to the right, under a marquee. A trio of wall sconces decorate the ground floor on either side of the curtain wall. The other three sides of the base are almost entirely blank brick, with a handful of square punched windows on the 2nd floor, and retail on the ground floor at the east end. The base also steps down in height toward the east elevation.

The tower rises sheer from the west side, with a convex angle on the south elevation. On the north side, the west half of the tower rises sheer from the base, with the east half set further back. The west elevation has a center curtain wall of blue glass broken by horizontal spandrels of dark grey brick. There is a single bay of triple windows running up either side of the curtain wall. At the top, the orange brick facade continues up a parapet with multiple step-ups to its center, where there is a single square opening.

The south eleevation has the same glass curtain wall with dark grey brick spandrels on each of the two angled facades, running up to the roof line. The same is found on the forward half of the north elevation. The back half has this configuration on its southern two-thirds. The rest is clad in dark grey brick with a single column of small, square windows. The brick wraps partly around to the east-facing wall created by the setback; the rest of this wall has one bay of triple windows. The main east elevation is plain orange brick with horizontal band courses across each floor, and two columns of square punched windows on the top 16 floors.

The hotel has 497 guest rooms. The east end of the ground floor is occupied by Bill's Bar & Burger, and a Starbucks coffee.
