Opened in 1814, this water-powered forge produced hand tools for the agricultural and mining industries until 1960. Maintained in working order, demonstrations include three waterwheels driving massive tilt hammers and grindstone. To the rear of the foundry is a thatched-roof gazebo with elaborate carved panels.
