This is a diamond interchange with a single loop ramp between Interstate 81, U.S. Route 58, and U.S. Route 421 (Gate City Highway) in Bristol, Virginia. The single loop connects Interstate 81 South to U.S. Route 421 South. This is the southern end of an overlap between Interstate 81 and U.S. Route 58 between Bristol and Abingdon. It was originally a directional interchange, including 4 bridges, and requiring U-turns on Route 58/421, but was completely reconstructed around the year 2000 with the widening of Interstate 81. It is the southernmost exit in Virginia on Interstate 81.
