This is a compressed diamond interchange between Interstate 81 and Secondary Route 737 (College Drive) near Emory, Virginia. It was first built around 1962 with the construction of Interstate 81 as a partial interchange only with I-81 to the north. It formed a pair with Exit 24 to the south. The interchange was expanded to a full diamond, connecting to the south, in the late 1980s or early 1990s.
