  Kamatchi amman koil is one of the famous temples in Tirumangalam. It is more than 100 years old. It has the history that, when virudhunagar people prepared and took the statue to their place, they took rest in tirumangalam by lying the god down in earth. After that, they could not take the statue away from it. So, they decided that it is the god's wish to stay in tirumangalam and so they built the temple for the god. It is very silent template and we can feel the good vibrations of the god when we visit this temple.
