Settlement on the east side of Kunoy. With the second village on this island it's connected via tunnel Kunoyartunnilin, built in 1988. It's also a place where Kunoy is connected with Borðoy, main island in Norðoyara, by bridge Byrging um Haraldssund. 2 kilometers south of the village there is a small ruin. Legend says that there was a Dutch community here many years ago.
