Krimchi temples refer to the group of several temples that are considered to be the oldest temples in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. The temples were constructed in 8th-9th century. According to folklore, this is the capital of Raja Kichak where Pandavas spent their 'Ajnaat vas' during the 13th year of exile.
According to the folklore, these temples were built by Panch Pandavas in a single night. Individual temples are attributed to each of the 5 Pandavas and Draupadi.
