Established in 1905. It was originally a important part of Gun & Shell Factory, Kashipore. It has an important role in the war 1971. basically it is an Metallargy factory under Indian Ordnance Factories of Ministry of Defence. It produces Barrels of Various tanks like Arjun, Boforse etc. and Catridge cases and other ammuniation parts.
