Contaminated with polychlorinated biphenyl (PCB) due to the operation of the nearby Ward Transformer Plant in the years between 1964 and 1977. It is therefore ill advised to eat fish from this reservoir on a regular basis. PCBs are only known to be toxic due to chronic excessive exposure.
