The 'Old Bridge' was finished in 22.12.1890 under the name 'Bridge Of Emperor Francis Joseph I'. During the retreat of German Army, the bridge was destroyed in 2.4.1945. The highway part was restored by the Russian Red Army in 24.1.1946 and the railway part was finished in year 1950. During the socialist era it's name was 'Bridge Of Red Army', after the end of communist era it was renamed to 'The Old Bridge'
