This is the historic village where the festival of Mauri is celebrated every 12 years. This is one of the biggest villages of the Taluka Gagawarsyun. There is a primary school here at the south side of the village called Pitrodidhar.

Nearest high school and hospital is in Lwali about 2 km away.
