  Thalassery courts celibrated its bi centinary last year.When Thalassery was under the rigime of British Thalasserry courts jurtsdiction was from Mumbai to mysoor now it is reduced to kannur district alone.Great stallwarts like Justice v.r.Krishna iyer Justice V. kalid ,Jusice Bhaskaran,Justice Narayanan nambiar ,Adv.M.p.Govindan nambiar,Adv.Kunhanandan nambiar,Adv.Ragavan nambiar,Adv.Kunhanandan nair,Adv.P.K.Balasubramaniam,Adv.A.d.Nair,ect were practiced here .Many Britishers were judges here like Holloway.
