  • Incorrect information, the Lagoon was a little further to the west, the location is the Melody Ranch and Barn.
  • Knox; I'd love to see your documentation of the location of the lagoon and Melody Ranch. My documentation (an old Republic Pictures Map) show the lagoon slightly south of this location, and Melody Ranch south and east of this. If you are a registered wikimapia user, pleas send me a private message and let's compare notes. I'd this map to be as accurate as possible. If you are not registered, please register so we can talk. I have posted the map to the tag called Republic Picture Back Lot.
  • I looked at a 1972 aerial photo from historicaerials.com and the lagoon appears to be between bungalow 20 and the "unidentified area." It's visible enough as a water mass to make me believe it's accurate. From that point to the west and over to the road, which then crosses the bridge to the north lot, there appears to be a large house set. If you guys figure this out as 100% legit let me know. Would also love to see the Republic Pictures map from renkessler if it's available.
  • Hi, I stumbled across this site when I was looking for an aerial view of the lagoon. I also looked at the historicaerials pic. The lagoon contained Bungalows 19 and 20, and almost touched Bungalow 17.
  • I moved the polygon based on the aerial diagrams renkessler uploaded. They show it to contain most of Bungalow 18 and 19 only. Look where the big stage buildings are for reference (they wouldn't have moved, but they probably added a new street and parking deck).
  • Was it Stage 3 that was partially obscured by tall vegetation in the closing credits?
