is a very ancient famous temple, A very beautiful prathishta of Rajarajeswary devi done by Villwa Mangalathu Swamiyar.He called her "Azhakotha Devi" which was later called as Arakathu devi. The temple have connections with sree Padhmanabha Swami temple Thiruvananthapuram.The famous Aarattu mahotsavam take place on every year in the month of Thulam(Thiruvonam Nakshatra)at the Marwellous Sanghumugham beach along with Sree Padmanabha Swami & Thiruvallam Sree Parasuramaswamy.The old look of the temple is so nostalgic and gives the feeling that we are in the lap of our Mother Goddess.
