St. Mary's Parks and Recreation. Saved from development by a large community grass-roots effort in the 1990's (see Friends of Myrtle Point's website.) Trails. Paddling access to Patuxent River (currently with a 110 yard carry eastward to the river from the dirt parking lot at the end of the right hand road fork as you enter the park. Picnic tables, port-o-john at launch site.)
