THE VILLAGE AND ITS PEOPLE:
Zhobumai Village was lived by 200 Appx houses comprised with seven Clans. Present Shimaiju was the Location where Khezakeno clan lived. The upper portion the present village site was the location of other Clans. The west of present village was occupied by Zapami Clan. This is the right side of the village. Therefore they were called Zapami meaning' right side of dwellers'. Huge and tall memorail stones erected by the early dwellers are still existing below the present village.Tradition has it that those stones were not pulled but lifted upon their shoulders by means of bamboo and wood support. During merit feast (stone pulling) meat distribution starts early in the evening to reach all the 200 houses.
