The State of Kansas has long maintained a roadside park where old US40 (now US24) crossed the railroad just west of Belvue. This site used to have many large trees and picnic tables, but a re-routing of the highway and new overpass seems to have taken some of the trees. Still it is a shady place to stop on a warm Kansas day!
