A former missile silo that was bought by Gordon Todd Skinner and then used by William Leonard Pickard and Clyde Apperson, both from the San Francisco Bay area, to produce or aimed to produce LSD. According to DEA there was enough material there to produce up to 36 million doses, other speculation says about 1/3 of the annual use in the U.S.
