  • A Tibetan town, occupied by Indian in 1950s when Nehru launched so called forward policy to steal the land from Tibet, China. In 1962 India-China war, Indian army was defeated in this area. For the sake of future peace, Chinese army retreated behind the actual control line unilaterally.
  • It is not the Tibetan town but an Indian Town. In fact, it is Tibet which has been occupied by China. China stabbed India in its back by attacking it. However, now India knows that chinese dogs shud never be trusted and has deployed its army. Now China shudnt dare to attack India or India will liberate Tibet as it liberated Bangladesh Jai Hind

  • India has many nice tourist spots
  • During my 2 months attachment in 1971 with 5 Mount.Div. in NEFA, visited the famous Monastery at Tawang along with Lt. Col. Ahluwalia and his staff stationed at Nuranag near Sella Pass. Lt.Col.Ahluwalia availed of this opportunity for purchasing an elegant Tibetan carpet in exchange for a few crates of rum bottles.
  • It doesn't matter whether you admit Tibet is an alienable part of China. It matters that India Government admited this reality. The issue of Tawang can only be resolved by diplomy and negotiation between the two counties. Please shed away your impolite attitude.
  • When I was in Tawang during 1971, I had the privilege of visiting the famous Buddhist Monastery and was overjoyed, indeed, hearing reverberations from the religious godly chantings by the Buddhist monks. The entire hall was showering out wonderful Buddhist hymns emanating from the prayers.
