house, ancient
Casa Isolani is one of the rare examples of civilian buildings from the 13th century. Its main feature is the presence of an arcade supported by very tall oak beams (9 metres) holding the third storey of the building. In the front, one-light windows, mullioned windows and shop arches were restored during 20thcentury renovation.
Inside, Rolli brothers are the authors of a Triumph of Felsina and the Isolani family.
The evocative gallery (Corte Isolani), opened to passers-by and linking a series of inner courtyards with the Casa Isolani on Strada Maggiore and Palazzo Isolani on piazza S. Stefano.
