The Akvir Karapınar Plateau Lakes Sinkhole Lake located in Cirali, is a pothole lakes. About 250 m. in diameter limestone layer within 80 m of the lake edges. It is a steep bowl-shaped. The depth of the lake is 35 m. On the steep cliffs around the lake there are small caves and caverns… which were part of a Roman settlement around the lake. The caves are Roman period rock tombs… But could be older/reused by Romans…
