"Objector's Bend" - Northern State Parkway

A sharp diversion in the right of way of the Northern State Parkway. When Robert Moses first proposed the parkway, wealthy landowners objected to the road's proximity to their estates. In one of the few defeats Moses suffered in his career, the parkway was rerouted.
