North to south they are: near The North End near La Valle Rd & County Hwy F, Section 11 and West Redstone Rd (access from Hwy 58), Fox Ct & East Redstone Drive (access from Wegner Rd). PARK AREA There is a county park next to the dam with a beach & swimming area. Fee is required through an "honor drop" system. Changing area and public bathrooms are available. View the waterfall (dam spillover) by walking across the earthen dam from the beach area. Entrance to the park is on the north side of Douglas Rd about 1/2 mile west of County V. LAKE HISTORY Lake Redstone is a man-made lake resulting from damming the Little Baraboo River which is fed by Big Creek and Seven Mile Creek (as well as other minor tributaries). Dam was built in the early 1960s. The area immediately surrounding the lake is private homes.
