It's still Squaw Peak. Nobody bought into the Piestewa thing.

False, Brosideon. Everybody calls it Piestewa Peak except for people who harbor a bizarre emotional investment in bigotry.

it is Squaw Peak, this is coming from a Phx native, Besides, who names a mountain for someone that gets lost ? gov napolatano violated the geographics naming by suspending the rules, pure political BS

I haven't heard the name "Cunt Peak" -- oops, that's the English translation of "Squaw Peak" -- in at least five years. Maybe you feel that because this dead soldier was Native American she doesn't deserve to have something named in her honor?

Cowards! Why don't all you MEN join the military to defend your right to speak instead of desecrating a brave WOMAN who had the guts to do something for her country?
