Eclectic (architecture), 1874_construction, embassy of Finland
Kalpaka bulvāris 1 (Robert Pflug 1873-74). In the years before World War II this house had many uses including a German secondary school, the offices of the Areo Club of Latvia, The Latvian Young Farmers' Club and the offices of the Finnish and Japanese embassies. During the occupation years it was the repository of Latvian Art. After independence it was again taken over by Finland as their embassy.
