  • I am happy to be born in this beatiful village blessed by Thiruvazhmarban, though not as blessed as Nammalwar. About 1 KM from Thiruppathisaram on the banks of Pazhayar is the place where Jadayu fell down after hit by Ravan and died. Ram seems to have visited this spot and worshipped Lord Siva after cremation Jadayu. The place is called Jadayupuram and there is a siva temple- Sri Ramalinga swamy temple on this place.
