Pegões Velhos

Pegões Velhos (a.k.a. Santo Isidro de Pegões), on the road between the Alentejo and Lisbon (via Montijo), Southern Portugal.
The area of Pegões is now more famous by its good wines, but there are many other agricultural products, such as potatoes, onions or fruit. The region was settled more than 50 years ago by farmers from other parts of Portugal, in a project of internal colonization designed by the state, that I guess was unique in the territory of continental Portugal in the 20th century. Each family was granted a large plot of farming land and a house. Every house had the same nice design.
