Seville (Spanish: Sevilla) is the artistic, cultural, and financial capital of southern Spain. It is the capital of Andalusia and of the province of Sevilla. It is situated on the plain of the River Guadalquivir, with an average elevation of 7 metres (23 ft) above sea level. The inhabitants of the city are known as Sevillanos (feminine form: Sevillanas) or "Hispalenses". The population of the city of Seville was 699,145 as of 2007 (INE estimate). The population of the metropolitan area (urban area plus satellite towns) was 1,450,214 as of 2007 (INE estimate), ranking as the fourth largest metropolitan area of Spain.

  • Es fabuloso ir a Sevilla porque tienes a Huelva a una hora de distancia, Cordoba en 1/2 hora, Cadiz en tan solo 2 horas y Malaga en dos horas y media.Tambien es muy recomendable visitar el resto de Andalucia aunque las ciudades esten a mas distancia. A mi lo que mas me gusta de Sevilla es cuando los hinchas del Betis y del Sevilla C.F. se encuentran.
  • Its fabulous to go to Seville because you get the city of Huelva in 1hour of distance, Cordova in 1h 30min, Cadiz in only 2 hours and Malaga in 2 hours and a half. Also its very recomendable to visit the rest of Andalusia even that distance is longer. Whats the best of Seville is when Seville's C.F. fans and Betis's meet on the street.
