  • This Plant may be of 1892 but the stone fixed near the Bridge describing that this bridge was esablished in 1857.
  • This plant was commission in 1952. in British time power plants were not so common. The first hydroelectric plant in India was installed in Darjeeling in 1897. In a project of Hydro Power Plant on Upper Ganga Canal, Pathri and Mohanpur Mohammadpur Power Plants along the canal's length were commissioned in 1955 and 1952, respectively.
