Administrative district (raion) of South-Eastern Administrative Okrug, and one of the 125 raions of Moscow, Russia. Population - 45,000 people (2002).
It was founded on the spot of two villages: Chagino (what is now the Moscow Oil Refinery) and Ryazantsevo (demolished in 1979). in 1960 the town was incorporated into the City of Moscow as a district. The district is one of the most polluted residential areas in Moscow, due to the Moscow Oil Refinery, and thus one of the cheapest in terms of housing costs.
