Kallooppara Market Junction is a well known market of the Kallooppara village. Kallooppara is blessed with its two religious instituions namely the St.Mary's Orthodox Church and the Sri.Bhagavadhi Temple.
It is situated in Mallappally Taluk, Pathanamthitta district, Kerala in India. It is a midland.But rich in small hills.

  • I was going through your articles about my church.I belongs to Valiaveettil family one among the aaruveedan mentioned in the article.Even though 3 Karkkidakam is correct for laying foundation stone is correct the year will be in dispute.Edappally Dynasty was ruling in Kerala in the 11th and 12 centuary as per kerala history.There is one more story told by ancestors that is the daughter of the Edappally Dynasty fell sick and the local vaidyas were not able to cure the desease and on somebody"s advice a praying christian man was braught from Chembu/Kulasegharamangalm who got the spiritual power to cure the desease was braught to Kallooppara and the girl got cured.Edapally thampuran allotted land to his family and requested them to stay in Kallooppara and later his family as it is told were having six sons or brothers became the Aaruveedan family.I just want to point out to clarify the years.
