The former LCF for "Flight Sierra", comprised of 10 LGM-118A Peacekeeper Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles. Nicknamed "Laramie Canal" by its crews, S-1 was manned by elements of the 400th Strategic Missile Squadron, 90th Space Wing, based at F.E. Warren AFB in Cheyenne, Wyoming. It and its missiles were deactivated between 2003 and 2005, in-line with the Peacekeeper's retirement.
