This is a water pond in the heart of the town adjoining Venkateswara Swamy Temple. The pond/tank is meant for the Lord Venkateswara. On festival days the idol of the Lord is to be taken around on a float with full decoration. At present, massive repairs have been under taken to the tank to bring back the past glory of the temple. The present Managing Commitee deserves much appreciation in this regard as well as the present good state of the temple.
