Originally originally constructed in 1923 for the Strutwear Knitting Company as a garment (underwear) factory; expanded between 1923 and 1930. Totally redeveloped in 1987 as an operations center for Marquette National Bank; Marquette National Bank was later acquired by First Bank Systems, now US Bancorp. The Building remained an operations center until US Bancorp vacated the building at the end of 2006.

The Vikings, the Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority, and Mortenson Construction all will lease space in the building during construction of the new Vikings Stadium next door (replacing the Metrodome).
