This house was built in 1910 with a coal furnace, wood stove and no running water. This house and the house nextdoor were bought in the 1930's, together. The houses share a room plan, a driveway, and a garage. The original lot included the land behind the house which was sold to a neighbor to the rear. In the 1970's the neighborhood was a lower-middle income class.
