Shuruppak or 𒋢𒆳𒊒𒆠Shuruppag "the healing place", now called Tell Fara, was inhabited from 3000 BCE to 2000 BCE. It was an important grain storage and shipping center, and shows evidence of a great flood. Shuruppak King Zi-ud-sura has been linked to Noah.
