Built in 1882 by the Architect N. V. Karneev.

At the time of WWI on the first floor was a hospital for the wounded. After the 1917 Revolution, the building passed to the control of health care institutions and the Academy of Medical Sciences of the USSR.

It is a striking example of Moscow eclectic architecture of the late 19th century, currently in dangerous condition.
