The co-operative village, Nyvang, is a historical event centre situated in scenic surroundings 5 km from the city of Holbæk. It covers the period from 1870 – 1950, where the Danish co-operative movement peaked. In Nyvang you can experience all the small shops, business, industries and farms, which kept the village going: Baker’s shop, butcher’s shop, post office, dairy work, smallholding, church, village hall, sawmill, co-op, and much more.
