  This is Janaki Devi Somany Guest House - Excellent place to stay and relax. Godd wholesome food at very rreasonable rates. Neat rooms again at very affordable rates. Has its own beautiful lawn adjacent the river and its own access to private ghat.

  Yes, we stayed there for several days in October 2010, between 2 brief trips to the Himalaya. We agree completely-- it was a very pleasant place to stay and relax, and we would highly recommend it.
