Nationals Park is a baseball stadium located at the Navy Yard neighbourhood in Southeast Washington, south of the Capitol, along the fast-developing Capitol Riverfront. Having LEED Silver certification, the park not only redefines modern sports facility architecture, but also serves as the primary catalyst and cornerstone of the new mixed-use Capitol Riverfront in the nation's capital. It is the home of the Washington Nationals of Major League Baseball. The ballpark, designed by HOK Sport and Devrouax + Purnell Architects and Planners, cost $611,000,000 to construct from May 2006 to March 2008. It has an all-seater capacity of 41,000 (with 79 luxury boxes) in a three-tier configuration. At the right field wall is a 102 x 47 ft (31 x 14 m) scoreboard. At center field is a full-service restaurant named The Red Porch.
